I am a Christ-follower, husband to Loree, Dad to Nick, Jordyn & Lauryn, Founder & Pastor of Heartland Church in Indianapolis

Darryn Scheske started Heartland Church in his living room in 2001. A third generation missional pastor, he inherited his love for people in the islands where he was raised. Today, Heartland Church is reaching thousands of people in two locations, and has launched five other churches in Indiana. He is a passionate advocate for people to live exceptional lives of unconditional acceptance, compassionate engagement, and joyful generosity. Darryn has travelled the world extensively leading efforts to provide transformation in developing countries like Haiti and Sierra Leone. Darryn also serves on Board of Overseers for Converge Worldwide and as the Director for Church Planting for Converge MidAmerica. He completed his Masters Degree in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Darryn and his wife, Loree, have three children and live in Fishers, Indiana.
